About RiskMonitor

Riskmonitor is a digital tool developed by the Inter-American Development Bank to further the understanding of disaster risk and the advancement of disaster risk management for member countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.

RiskMonitor Indicators

Riskmonitor is comprised of five indicators that measure disaster risk and its management at the national level, over time, for all IDB member countries. These indicators further the understanding of essential aspects of disaster risk and its management from a range of perspectives, encompassing normative, institutional, budgetary, territorial, social, economic, financial, and public policy dimensions.

Results

Riskmonitor provides results of these five indicators, assessed periodically since 2005, for the 26 IDB member countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
